Little Miss BBQ is looking for a Catering and Events Manager who can grow our catering business, build strong guest relationships, and oversee memorable events that reflect our commitment to world class BBQ and genuine hospitality. This role is a mix of sales, leadership, event planning, logistics, and hands‑on event or store level execution. You will work closely with our store operators and leadership team(s) to drive results and deliver great experiences for our guests.
WhatYou Will Do
- Build and execute strategies to increase catering and event sales.
- Generate new leads through outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and secure repeat business.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and track key sales metrics.
- Use LMB catering and POS systems to support accurate planning and reporting.
- Serve as the main point of contact from initial inquiry to event completion.
- Work with clients to plan menus, logistics, and timelines.
- Maintain clear communication and a high level of hospitality throughout the process.
- Coordinate closely with store teams on production, staffing, and scheduling.
- Oversee on‑site execution of large catering orders and special events.
- Ensure timing, presentation, and service meet Little Miss BBQ standards.
- Partner with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
- Help support staffing, training, and event team motivation when needed.
- Assist with equipment oversight, vehicle upkeep, and quarterly inventory.
- Build and manage event budgets.
- Track costs, revenue, and performance to ensure profitability.
- Identify ways to streamline operations and improve margins.
- Partner with leadership and marketing on promoting catering offerings.
- Represent Little Miss BBQ at community events and festivals.
- Contribute ideas for outreach, social media features, and client engagement.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in catering sales, hospitality management, or event coordination.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- A love for BBQ!
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Financial understanding of budgeting and cost control.
- Professionalism and strong brand representation.
- Experience in high‑volume or multi‑unit restaurant operations is a plus.
- Confident sales approach and solid negotiation skills.
- High level of hospitality and guest care.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear communicator and effective problem solver.
- Ability to lead and support teams during events.
- Salary:
Competitive, based on experience. - Commission structure.
- PTO up to 80 hours annually.
- Up to 40 hours rollover.
