Description

We’re hiring our first sales and business development hire to drive revenue growth and establish Datum Point as the go-to platform for AI‑powered real estate and municipal suite of tools. This is a hands‑on role focused on sourcing and closing deals while also shaping the foundation of our go‑to‑market motion.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, civil engineers, architects, municipalities, and industry partners.
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for key regions and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to refine messaging, improve client engagement, and strengthen GTM execution.
  • Establish and manage a scalable sales pipeline, with consistent reporting and performance updates to leadership.
  • Inform company‑wide sales strategy and expansion plans in partnership with executive leadership.
  • Leverage modern prospecting tools and multi‑channel outreach to connect with decision‑makers and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Travel as needed (up to 20%) for client meetings, conferences, and closing high‑impact deals.
Requirements
  • Clear and persuasive communicator able to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter with strong ownership and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable; thrives in a high‑growth, early‑stage environment.
  • Proven success in cold outreach and consultative selling, with the ability to identify client pain points and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Passionate about technology, real estate, and the role of data / AI in shaping the future of development and infrastructure.
  • Prior experience at a startup or scaling growth‑stage company is a strong plus.
