Compensation: $70K-$80K

We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join out client and play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate payroll processing for their valued employees. Key Responsibilities:

+ Process weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and year-end payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.

+ Review timesheets and wage computations to identify and resolve discrepancies

+ Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments

+ Issue accurate and timely paychecks and pay stubs

+ Calculate wages, deductions, and retroactive pay adjustments

+ Input RO's weekly and generate monthly commission checks

+ Track employee leave (vacation, personal, sick time)

+ Assign hours to appropriate jobs/ROs and adjust wage rates as needed

+ Calculate and submit payroll and unemployment taxes to federal and state agencies

+ Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports; maintain job logs

+ Generate and distribute annual W-2 forms

+ Provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll, tax, benefits, and garnishments

+ Support Payroll Supervisor with benefits reports and general ledger reconciliations

+ Stay current on payroll-related laws and regulations

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements (e.g., workers comp, garnishments)

+ Interpret payroll policies and resolve employee inquiries

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance (preferred)

+ 3+ years of payroll experience

+ Proficiency in Certified Payroll

+ Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in processing/reporting

* This is an on-site role and does not allow hybrid or remote flexibility
