Contract Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Contract Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona
.

This role ensures compliance with company policies and legal standards while providing strategic guidance on complex contractual matters.

• Lead deal reviews and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions.
• Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts in alignment with corporate policies and legal requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on complex or high-risk contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and sales to ensure contract accuracy and alignment.
• Mentor and direct junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to contract strategy development.

• Bachelors degree required
• 6-8 years of experience in contract negotiation and administration
• Preferred: advanced degree or certification in contract management

• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Creative problem-solver with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
• Worker will utilize SAP Fieldglass for weekly time reporting.
