Whatyour day would be like:
- Executive Advisory: Collaborate directly with senior leadership, providing actionable insights and expert recommendations to guide critical business decisions.
- Advanced Financial Analysis: Develop complex financial and economic models to forecast outcomes, assess scenarios, and uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Conduct in-depth research, sensitivity analyses, and strategic testing to challenge conventional thinking and identify innovative solutions.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Transform intricate financial data into compelling, high-impact presentations that inspire action and drive strategic alignment.
- Negotiation Expertise: Advise on asset purchases, sales, and transaction pricing, including direct negotiations with counter parties to secure favorable outcomes.
- Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end special projects, ensuring timelines, stakeholder expectations, and deliverables are met with excellence.
- Technology Expertise: Leverage tools like Power BI, advanced Excel modeling, database tools, statistical software, and robotic process automation to deliver robust insights and solutions.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think big-picture while focusing on actionable details that drive business outcomes.

Experience:
Exceptional management consulting skills with a history of advising executives and influencing key decisions. - Financial Expertise: Advanced modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills, coupled with a deep understanding of finance, economics, and business operations.
- Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, accounting, economic analysis or data analytics in any industry.
- OR five (5) years business operations related experience in the utility or energy services industry.
- In lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of formal education and experience totalling ten (10) years is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of finance and economic analysis, corporate finance, utility regulation, utility operations. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong research, data management and effective management communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and database tools.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong experience with related analytical, financial, database, and/or business operations tools (i.e., Kyriba, Bloomberg, People Soft, Cognos, Power Plant, Hyperion, Maximo, supply chain and inventory systems).
- Energy/utility finance, project management and/or consulting experience.
- Travel may be required.
