Position: SENIOR COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee Initial LIHTC close-out audits to ensure compliance with housing standards
  • Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits for various housing programs
  • Manage the Compliance Division's Annual Reporting Process and ensure timely submission of all required reports
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders and assist in compliance training development
  • Serve as a reliable backup for all Compliance Division functions, performing other duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of four years of experience in affordable housing compliance or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local housing guidelines, including LIHTC, HOME, and NSP
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and standard office applications (MS Office Suite and Google Suite)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with compliance management software and database systems
  • Proven ability to conduct detailed audits and analyze compliance data
  • Familiarity with Arizona Department of Housing policies and general HR policies
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Arizona for site visits
