Overview
A warm and welcoming family in Phoenix is seeking a nurturing, full-time nanny to care for their infant daughter. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about infant care and is looking to build a long-term, meaningful connection with a loving family. The mother works from home most days, with the exception of Wednesdays, and the family values a caregiver who is attentive, proactive, and focused on supporting their daughter’s daily needs and development.
They hope to find someone who will feel like part of the family and contribute to a calm, organized household centered on the child’s well-being.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Start dateIdeally anytime between Oct and December 2025 (flexible for the right candidate; must be available full-time by early January)
PetsOne friendly 6-year-old cat in the home
Responsibilities- Engaging the child in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and developmental interactions
- Preparing and cleaning bottles, and assisting with feeding as the child transitions to solids
- Administering a once-daily oral medication (temporary; expected to end by 6 months of age)
- Supporting nap routines and maintaining a consistent daily schedule
- Folding and putting away baby-related laundry
- Cleaning up after baby-related activities (bottles, toys, play area, etc.)
- Following household routines and preferences, including health, safety, and feeding guidelines
- Communicating regularly with parents about the child’s day, milestones, and any concerns
- The nanny will NOT be responsible for general household tasks beyond those directly related to the child.
Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hr DOE
Qualifications- Prior experience caring for infants
- Excellent references from previous families
- CPR certified (or willing to obtain before start)
- Fully vaccinated, including for COVID-19
- Clean background check
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working in a home with a parent present and a cat
- Organized, proactive, and strong communication skills
