Traveling Superintendent

Our Building Group is looking to add an experienced Traveling Project Superintendent to their team.

• Oversee and supervise all field crew members including foremen, carpenters, laborers, and project operations.
• Develop a project site logistics plan and work with the project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction. Plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with owner, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Promote a safe working environment and company safety standards, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Read plans and have a strong knowledge of various DOT specifications and standards.
• Assist Project Engineers in the Shop Drawing and Submittal process.
• Consult with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
• Schedule subcontractors in accordance with the work schedule, pump trucks and material deliveries; inspect and verify receipt or shipment of materials.
• Assist the Estimating Department in bidding opportunities and preconstruction services.

• 5+ years of related experience with large-scale commercial, design-build or multifamily construction project operations.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• OSHA 30-hour Card, preferred.
