Our client is a top-tier national ENR top general contractor that is seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent with experience overseeing large design build pursuits. We need Supers who have built big building without windows. Understands commissioning and QAQC. This leadership role requires a hands‑on professional with a strong background in field operations, project management, and safety compliance. We are looking for a driven individual who enjoys being part of complex, high‑profile builds and can guide large crews to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
Aboutthe Role
This position involves leading field crews and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations including all things electrical scheduling
- Ensuring job site safety and environmental compliance at all times with onsite subs.
- Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers
- Tracking job progress, production, quality, and cost metrics
- Handling field documentation: timesheets, logs, purchase orders, and daily reports
- Ensuring projects are built according to plans, specs, and applicable building codes
- Mentoring and developing field staff while promoting a team‑first culture
- Actively participating in project planning meetings, progress updates, and safety briefings
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent managing industrial, data center, manufacturing, semiconductor, pharma or big life science projects.
- Deep understanding of NEC and local codes
- Strong track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and on budget
- Heavy experience running QA/QC programs
- Familiarity with job tracking and reporting systems
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project documents, and technical specs
- Physical ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Comfortable working extended hours, including overtime or night shifts when needed
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software
- Experience with advanced construction technologies
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices
