Salary: $120-150K depending on experience

We are helping a successful civil contractor look for an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our team in Phoenix. This role will focus on a variety of civil projects including CMAR, Design Bid Build, and Job Order Contracting. The right person will have a strong understanding of civil construction estimating, the ability to manage multiple bids at once, and excellent attention to detail.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects (sitework, wwtp, grading, paving, underground utilities, etc)

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents

• Work with project managers, estimators and superintendents to develop scopes of work

• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits

• Track project budgets and timelines during the bidding process

• Maintain organized records of bids and estimates

• 6+ years of experience as a civil estimator

• Experience with CMAR, Design Bid Build, and/or Job Order Contracting highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and pricing

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office

• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
