Project Scheduler – Construction
Location:
Phoenix, Arizona

STRM Recruiting is partnering with a construction organization seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support planning and execution of complex construction projects.
The ideal candidate combines advanced scheduling capabilities with practical field construction knowledge and can work collaboratively with project leadership to identify risks and maintain reliable project timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and update comprehensive construction project schedules.
- Establish critical path activities, milestones, and sequencing requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and preconstruction teams.
- Monitor project progress and evaluate impacts from construction delays or changes.
- Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, and recovery recommendations.
- Support resource planning, procurement sequencing, and construction logistics.
- Analyze schedule performance and identify opportunities to improve project delivery.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and communicate scheduling risks.
- Experience scheduling complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or comparable construction scheduling software.
- Understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
- Practical knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations.
- Ability to interpret construction documents and project milestones.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working directly with construction project teams.
- Data center, high-tech, industrial, or large-scale commercial construction.
- Schedule recovery planning and delay analysis.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and complex construction phases.
Help guide major construction projects by providing the scheduling insight needed to improve predictability, coordination, and successful delivery.
