Construction Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Construction Manager to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will oversee multiple construction initiatives across a multi-location retail footprint, with direct accountability for schedule, cost, contractor performance, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will bring strong retail construction experience and the ability to manage remodels, takeovers, and other complex projects while keeping operations moving.

You will partner closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive timely execution, control budgets, and maintain high standards across every phase of the work.

Location:

Remote

Compensation: $115,000 – $138,000 annually

• Manage multiple simultaneous construction projects with full responsibility for schedule and cost management
• Measure contractor and supplier performance
• Maintain and enhance the list of qualified contractors
• Provide overall contract management and coordination among stakeholders
• Coordinate internal resources to support various projects during construction
• Budget and track costs for assigned projects
• Resolve conflicts with contractors and management to maintain project schedules

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management as a project manager
• Strong knowledge of AIA documents and construction bidding methods
• Big-box and/or supermarket retail experience preferred
• Experience in remodeling open businesses and building takeovers
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Work remotely or at the home office in Marlborough, MA
• Travel 50% - 70% for project oversight
