Oradeo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Planner for a leading construction contractor based in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction planning and scheduling, taking responsibility for the preparation, monitoring and reporting of project programmes while working closely with project teams, supply chain partners and key stakeholders.

• Prepare contract and project programmes, producing ongoing monthly progress reports.
• Monitor progress trends, outputs and resources across projects to enhance the planning department’s knowledge base.
• Complete all scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and contracts, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards.
• Collaborate closely with project teams on all planning and schedule-related activities.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the wider project team, supply chain and other stakeholders.
• Carry out short- to medium-term planning reviews, providing impartial and forward-looking insight to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Challenge existing approaches, review alternative construction solutions and drive continuous improvement to achieve optimal project outcomes.

• Relevant third-level qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience.
• Previous project planning and scheduling experience on construction and/or civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, project scheduling and progress reporting.
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
