Fox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
FOX 10, Arizona’s preeminent source for news, is seeking a talented, passionate, creative, and collaborative weekend Anchor/Reporter to join our dynamic team! Requires a highly creative individual with the ability to research, write and deliver compelling news stories to maintain viewer interest.
Must be an outstanding storyteller with strong interviewing skills and the ability to ad-lib effectively live on broadcast and digital platforms. Work cohesively with producers, editors and photographers to create news stories & features. Develop and maintain story source network. Make public appearances on behalf of the station. Work with social media to attract, inform and engage the audience.
Four years college degree preferred. Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment within specific time constraints. Must also demonstrate experience and proficiency with live news technology and newsroom computers. Local/national travel required. Weekends, holidays, and varied hours required. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.
