POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking qualified candidates with customer service, cashier, sales or hospitality experience for a full‑time Member Loyalty Representative. The role focuses on creating rewarding member experiences, educating members about Oportun’s services, and engaging in community outreach.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Welcome members warmly and provide quality member service.
- Process all transactions accurately and securely.
- Work independently or as a team to exceed daily lending and servicing goals.
- Engage in outreach activities at least 50% of the time: partner locations, community events, local businesses, flea markets, etc.
- Build relationships with local business owners and educate them about Oportun services.
- Assist with applications at LAAS partner locations, retail sites and community events.
- Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
- Use computers (approx. 3‑6 hours/day) for administrative and member‑servicing tasks.
- Stand while assisting members; sit for non‑member tasks.
- Travel between outreach sites within a reasonable commuting distance.

- Can lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
- Basic computer skills; comfortable using phones, scanners and iPads.
- Organizational skills for filing documents.
