Responsibilities- Assess and complete market research for potential areas identified for comprehensive medical services for correctional facilities
- Negotiate reimbursement rates and implement contracts with physicians and ancillary providers in geographically diverse areas, including cold‑calling medical providers
- Coordinate completion of provider contractual activities including review of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), preparation of provider contract documentation, pricing documentation, and proposal submissions
- Coordinate and attend start‑up meetings with hospital and/or physician providers
- Provide support to all contracted physicians
- Four‑year BA or BS degree preferred
- One to two years of healthcare experience; three to five years preferred
- Basic understanding of Medicare reimbursement required
- Organized and detail‑oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiating skills
- Strong customer‑service orientation
- Ability to problem‑solve
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, result‑oriented environment
- Ability to travel up to 25%
