Position

Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Architectural Project Manager to join the firm as part of our Data Centers team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Project Managing
    • Anticipate, understand and manage client expectations
    • Establish and manage project schedules
    • Complete projects on time and within fee budget
    • Administer construction phase procedures and documentation (shop drawings/submittals, requests for information, and addenda/clarifications)
    • Manage all facets of project production resulting in a thorough set of documents. Oversee quality assurance processes and quality control of project documents
    • Develop and present technical solutions to project stakeholders. Develop and communicate project phasing. Develop effective directives, outlines, projections, schedules, and strategies. Identify solutions and resolve technical challenges
  • Leadership
    • Provide leadership to staff by identifying roles and responsibilities, leveraging strengths, providing stretch opportunities, and mentorship
    • Lead and encourage open dialogue regarding design and technical ideation. Motivate the team to meet project goals. Drive coordination among staff, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive team.
  • Business Development
    • Develop competitive fee structures for project pursuits
    • Explore and recognize new business opportunities through professional networks
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Understand and apply industry standards and construction practices
    • Identify, understand, and document regulatory requirements and resolve code-related issues
    • Share and apply new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
    • Attend and conduct presentations
    • Manage client relations
  • Qualifications
    • Education:

      Professional, NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent
    • Certification:
      Professional registration
    • Experience:

      8+ years in commercial architecture, including managing large teams, design documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination
    • Technology:
      Revit proficiency preferred; experience with other 3D software a plus
    • Strong marketing and client relations skills
    • Expertise in master planning, conceptual design, and technical excellence
