Join a Legacy of Design ExcellenceWe are seeking an accomplished and visionary Design Executive to lead the creative strategy, execution, and delivery of multiple projects across our growing portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role for a proven design professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for creating thoughtful, innovative design solutions.
As a Design ExecutiveYou will be the driving force behind the design vision—from concept to completion. You’ll lead a talented team of designers and work cross-functionally with construction, development, and client teams to ensure that every project meets our rigorous standards for quality, functionality, and brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Champion the creative direction for all phases of the design process—schematic design through construction documentation.
- Mentor and inspire a team of designers to foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Ensure all design work aligns with client vision, brand identity, and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and manage conceptual design schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Monitor critical path timelines, identify roadblocks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Work closely with Construction Project Managers to align design deliverables with project milestones.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all design-related communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate the preparation and presentation of the Programmatic Summary and Transformation Playbook.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, design workshops, and closeout reviews.
- Direct QA/QC review cycles at the 50% and 100% document milestones.
- Ensure code compliance, ADA accessibility, and sustainability standards are met or exceeded.
- Identify and mitigate design risks while maintaining a client-centric approach.
- Extensive experience in a senior-level design leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Teams, One Note, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven success engaging with executives and clients.
- In-depth understanding of architecture/design processes, construction coordination, and code compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing design teams.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Ability to commute daily to our Chandler, AZ office (This is a full-time, on-site position).
