Position Summary

Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) at Phoenix Children’s seeks a BE/BC Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician for a full-time faculty role in Phoenix, Arizona. The Division of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, housed within BNI, offers comprehensive pediatric neurological, behavioral, and mental health care, integrating neurosurgery, neurology, neuropsychology, developmental pediatrics, and physical medicine & rehabilitation in one central location. The institute is committed to quality inpatient and outpatient care and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management of children with developmental and behavioral problems, such as autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, ADHD, Down syndrome, fragile X syndrome, and related conditions.

Position Duties
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care and subspecialty consultations.
  • Offer diagnostic and therapeutic services, including urgent/emergent care.
  • Strive for patient and family centered care and support hospital patient satisfaction goals.
  • Adhere to divisional patient safety and quality standards.
  • Practice contemporary evidence‑based medicine.
Divisional Responsibilities
  • Meet annual physician goals and objectives.
  • Support medical education programs: supervise trainees, conduct teaching rounds, deliver lectures.
  • Participate in research endeavors and programmatic growth.
  • Support programmatic satellite efforts when appropriate.

Position Qualifications Education
  • MD or DO degree (Required)

  • Regular work hours schedule.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
Additional Requirements
