Physician-Hospice​/Palliative Care

In affiliation with the University of Arizona, Banner-University Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician to join our growing team
. This is a well-established program with mentoring and development resources to support newer graduates as well as the opportunity to shape the future of the program for those with more experience. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment consistent with their credentials and will have opportunity to grow Hospice & Palliative Care within the community and teach students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona.

• Inpatient Only - Consult Service
• M-F - Flexible Schedule w/ Opportunity for 8 or 10 hour shifts;
  Weekend call on rotation by phone only
• 2 Fellows help to support the program per year
• Deliver excellent patient-centered hospice and palliative care within the clinical setting, demonstrating sound knowledge of medical specialty.
• Exercise didactic and clinical teaching for care staff, residents, fellows, and medical students
• Research Involvement that contributes to the cure or management of diseases while advancing designated educational programs
• Active participation in systemwide Palliative Care, Geriatrics, and Integrative Medicine Clinical Consensus Groups

• American Board of Internal Medicine certified/eligible
• Fellowship-trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• New grads and experienced providers encouraged to apply
