Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Trauma​/Surgery

DMG is actively recruiting for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedics department The Ortho PA will assist the attending surgeons in orthopedics to deliver quality patient care services at Valley wise Health Medical Center (VWMC).

Responsibilities include:

• Outpatient management of orthopedic patients referred for general, sports medicine, or musculoskeletal disorders
• Perform history and physicals, consultations, routine and established care, complete work up and treatment pathways for appropriate surgical or conservative management
• Enter patient orders as directed
• Review and discuss results of medical imaging and laboratory studies with attending physician, hospital staff, and/or patients as appropriate
• Make hospital rounds and write notes daily on patients
• Assist attending surgeon in the operating room
