The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Phoenix Children’s seeks a full‑time, board eligible/board certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist with an interest in benign hematology, immune deficiencies, bone marrow failure syndromes, or related areas. Candidates with experience in research, programmatic development, and clinical care preferred. The role requires clinical care, teaching, and participation in clinical research, and the physician will be an integral and interactive member of the Division of Hematology/Oncology/BMT in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, participating in inpatient and outpatient management of hematology patients.

- Patient Care Services
- Provide direct patient care on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Subspecialty consultations and follow‑up.
Diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures.
Urgent/emergent care as necessary. - Strive to achieve the best patient and family‑centered care.
- Support Hospital’s patient satisfaction goals and divisional specific targets.
- Support divisional patient safety and quality of care standards.
- Practice contemporary evidence‑based medicine.
- Provide direct patient care on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
- Divisional Responsibilities
- Establish and demonstrate effort to achieve annual physician goals and objectives.
- Support the medical education programs and activities of the Division.
- Provide direct supervision of trainees and allied health care professionals.
- Conduct teaching rounds, lectures and conferences for trainees.
- Participate in the teaching and supervision of trainees and allied health care professionals.
- Participate in the postgraduate continuing educational activities of the division.
- Support research endeavors and programmatic growth of the division.
- Support satellite efforts of division when appropriate.

- Physician may conduct teaching rounds or conferences outside Phoenix Children’s.
- Physician shall represent Phoenix Children’s in medical and business communities and before the general public in a professional manner.
- Physician shall perform essential physical and mental skills including communication devices, after hours or night call, and scheduled work hours.
