Physician - Full Time Radiologist (Interventional)

Base salary $300,000 – $400,000 per year.

25 % incentive authorized for a highly qualified candidate.

Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Program awards up to $200,000 and may be awarded for one to five years.

Qualified Interventional Radiologist with board certification and fellowship training in an ACGME‑accredited Interventional Radiology program. Must hold full, unrestricted U.S. medical license and be board certified.

• United States citizenship
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved medical school
• Completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs
• Full, unrestricted valid medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or district of Columbia
• Board certified in Interventional Radiology and fellowship training in an ACGME‑accredited Interventional Radiology program
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Physical and cognitive fitness required; designated drug testing position

• Non‑citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited
• Residency may be ACGME or AOA accredited or foreign training followed by five years of verified U.S. practice
• Resident Providers (PRPs) may be appointed as intermittent or fee basis but are not independent practitioners
• After appointment, random drug testing will be conducted

• Provide direct patient care 90–100 % of the time in Interventional Radiology
• Perform full spectrum interventional radiology procedures, order and evaluate laboratory studies, and notify providers of critical imaging results
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and review peer‐to‐peer radiology reports
• Meet with patients via clinic and inpatient consults
• Consult on complex imaging and interventional procedures; timely reporting of imaging exams
• Teach residents, fellows, and other trainees; present formal educational material at grand rounds
• Mentor junior faculty and develop research projects
• Work schedule Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm; rotate night, evening, and weekend call
