**** Position Summary**:

** Responsibilities**:
* Use AMS curriculum standards to teach students above and below grade level through a differentiated approach
* Attend weekly professional development sessions and meetings with grade-level teams/professional learning communities
* Communicate effectively with parents and lead parent-student-teacher meetings to facilitate progress both in and outside the classroom
* Coordinate with administrators and other staff members to create an environment focused on meeting students’ academic and behavioral needs
* Use measurable data to track student performance and enhance student outcomes with visible results
* Collaborate with network and school teams to continuously improve instructional practices and student achievement
* Utilize PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to guide students in developing social and emotional skills that support lifelong learning

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Arizona State Certification in Special Education
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education OR a Bachelor’s in a related field with at least two years of K–8 teaching experience
* Passion for supporting Title I and ESL students in underserved communities
* Ability to pass a background check and obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card
* Strong analytical and data-driven instructional skills
* Adaptability and willingness to deliver an established, rigorous curriculum
* Collaborative mindset and initiative to contribute to a high-performing team
** Compensation and Benefits:
** AMS offers a generous base salary, comprehensive benefits package, and multiple opportunities for professional growth and additional income.* $10,000 State SPED Certification Stipend
* Performance bonuses averaging over $2,200 per year (up to $3,400)
* Relocation stipend of up to $5,000 for out-of-state hires
* 401k retirement plan (optional, with employer match)
* Free medical, dental, short/long-term disability, and life insurance (valued at $5,328)
* Optional low-cost vision insurance plans
* Professional development including comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and regular check-ins
* Additional stipends averaging $2,300 for after school intervention/tutoring and $2,000 for leading extracurricular clubs or sports
