Grant Project Assistant, Flourishing Pastor Network Lilly Grant

Join to apply for the Grant Project Assistant, Flourishing Pastor Network Lilly Grant role at Grand Canyon University.

Grand Canyon University is a regionally accredited private Christian university located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Grand Project Assistant provides vital management and support for Grand Canyon Theological Seminary’s Flourishing Pastor Network (FPN) in collaboration with seminary leadership. This 12‑month administrative staff position centers on data analysis related to student admissions, retention, alumni tracking, grant reporting, event planning, program communications, and pastoral networking.

Key responsibilities include data gathering, analysis, and dissemination for the FPN; preparation of required grant‑funding reports; management of the FPN grant budget; development of internal reporting processes; support of intra‑network activities; assistance with meeting planning; support of admissions processes; communication of key information to partners; management of strategic church partnerships; coordination of FPN events; management of social media; tracking of grant‑related expenses;

maintenance of master timeline for documentation; review of curricular assessments; assistance with strategy/planning meetings; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer/student service focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with exceptional organization skill and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills with good command of the English language and good editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to cope with changing priorities, and manage timelines, in an effective and organized manner.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office applications and basic proficiency with databases and ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Good problem solver with critical thinking skills.
  • Sensitive to and respectful of cultural differences.
  • Superior judgment and discretion in handling or viewing confidential information.
  • Ability to pass background investigations.
