Position: Student Worker - University Financial Aid- Loan Repayment Support (FWS)
Grand Canyon University is seeking a Loan Repayment Advisor to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU’s University Financial Aid department.
** Position Summary/

Purpose:

** The purpose of the position is to assist in lowering the University’s Cohort Default Rate.
** Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/

Essential Functions:

** Utilize critical thinking skills to counsel students regarding the successful repayment of their federal student loans
*
* Qualifications:

*
* * Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
* Willingness to work during breaks a plus
* Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Arizona Time
* The position is remote at your own location and must be within 30 miles of campus
* Phoenix locals preferred

Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening Ability to successfully multi-task while navigating multiple systems Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
