Responsibilities:

• Step in as a substitute teacher in various schools, adapting to the needs of students across kindergarten through twelfth grade.

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teaching staff, adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure a consistent learning experience.

• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to choose assignments that best fit personal availability and preferences.

• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current substitute or teaching certificate recognized by the state.

• Required to have a current state-issued Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Expected to work a minimum of 10 days within the current school year to maintain an active status in the substitute pool.

Substitute Daily Rate of Pay:

Full Day: $140.00.

Half Day (4.5 hours or less): $70.00.

A long-term rate of $150.00 is offered starting from the 21st consecutive day of an assignment, retroactively applied to the first day, when covering the same position for at least 21 days.
