Position: Food Service Worker

Location: South Mountain

Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $17.00/hour

Hours: 10:15 AM - 1:30 PM

How you will make a difference at Sun Valley Academy

As the Food Service Worker, you will supervise students and ensure proper behavior. You will also:

• Check students' names off of the rosters.
• Open containers for lower grade students.
• Wipe tables, sweep, mop, and dispose of waste to maintain cleanliness of the multipurpose room during lunch periods.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition, some carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience working with children.
• Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
