School Assistant

Overview

School Assistant role at BASIS Ed in the Phoenix Metro Area, starting ASAP. This position may be part-time or full-time, with pay ranges from $16–$18/hour. Part-time positions are non-benefited.

• Monitor students to ensure safety
• Oversee students’ behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before/after school programs
• Report any unruly behavior to school management
• Inform supervisor of damages to school property
• Respond to emergencies (injuries, food allergies) with urgency
• Exercise sound judgment in carrying out duties
• Assist in front office support, as applicable
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance
• Supervise individual students and/or groups during structured and unstructured times

• Required:
  
  High school diploma or higher
• Required:
  
  Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Experience in a school or child care environment
