Teachers Assistant

Compensation

• $16 - $18 / hour based on contractor's experience, availability, and skill set.
• $100 contract signing incentive after completion of 100 working hours.

• Assist students as they board and exit school bus.
• Escort students to and from the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch, and supervise them during meal times.
• Transport wheelchair bound students to and from the nurse for nursing procedures.
• Lift students with the assistance of a colleague: position students in various adaptive chairs, mats, and wedges.

• A passion for supporting students with special needs and atypical development may exhibit. Behaviors may include hitting, kicking, yelling, and screaming.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid CPR / First Aid.
• AZ Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 6 months' of classroom experience or similar professional setting.
• Ability to maintain and exhibit patience and understanding at all times.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.

• Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health.
• Compensated weekly.
