Our mission is to connect young readers and youth leaders to inspire a love of literacy and leadership.

An Afternoon as a Program Coach

Program Coaches work with elementary school students in a dynamic after‑school club atmosphere. They attend paid training and onboarding before starting, coach 4th/5th‑grade “Leaders” in the RBBB curriculum to support kindergarten/1st‑grade “Readers”, and on 2nd/3rd‑grade leaders to support their “Readers”. The Coach facilitates the literacy program, ensures curriculum progress, promotes a safe and healthy learning environment, and meets once weekly with the Program Coordinator to discuss successes and needs.

Coaches attend professional development workshops during the semester, and the program culminates in a graduation event. Coaches are encouraged to return for subsequent semesters.
