EMIT Learning is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our team. The role focuses on inspiring students to develop problem‑solving skills, logical reasoning, and a lifelong appreciation for mathematics.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality math instruction aligned with state standards and the school curriculum.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem‑solving, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
  • Provide academic support, tutoring, and enrichment opportunities as needed.
  • Integrate technology and hands‑on learning experiences to enhance mathematical understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and communication.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and growth‑oriented classroom environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics (preferred).
  • Valid California Teaching Credential in Mathematics (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with Math Emphasis (required).
  • Prior experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level (preferred).
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices.
  • Proficiency with educational technology tools and math instructional software.
