Overview

The Tutor will support students’ academic growth through individualized and small‑group instruction, working under the guidance of school staff. The primary goal is to assist learners in meeting data‑driven learning objectives.

• Provide targeted tutoring in assigned subject areas, individually or in groups.
• Develop and lead workshops on selected academic topics.
• Model collaborative study strategies and encourage collective learning.
• Create, organize, and maintain instructional resources.
• Foster a friendly, productive learning environment.
• Track student progress using data tools and report toward academic goals.
• Meet regularly with the supervisor and communicate observations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or two years of college preferred.
• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required.
• Proficient typing and computer skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

The role requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds frequently. Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, and intense noises.
