Math Instructor​/Tutor

We are looking for an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team. This is a part-time role with flexible hours. You will create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. If you are driven, motivated, and eager to make a difference, we would love to meet you!

The ideal candidate will be a bright, passionate, and ambitious professional with excellent interpersonal, math, instruction, and tutoring skills. Training is provided. All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

• Providing exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students
• Teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Assist with non‑teaching/instructional tasks as needed

Compensation: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

* Algebra 1 (Algebra (1/2) Algebra 2 (Algebra 3/4) Geometry Pre‑Calculus/Trig Calculus AB or BC Above Calculus BC

What math levels are you comfortable teaching?
* Algebra 1 Geometry Algebra 2 Pre‑Calculus Calculus

Would you be willing to commit to instruction 2-3 times per week for a minimum of 9 months?

How many years of experience do you have working with children?
