Salary: $50,249–$89,969 (Excluding additional stipends)
Summary:
A dedicated Special Education Resource Teacher for grades 6-8 is sought to join a dynamic team committed to fostering a positive learning environment that accommodates the diverse needs of students. This role is critical in developing and implementing an inclusive curriculum aligned with state and district standards, adapting teaching methods to support each student's unique learning requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or a related field.
Valid Arizona Elementary Teaching Certificate or other appropriate certification.
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
SEI Endorsement preferred.

Job Functions:
Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning for students with diverse educational needs.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual student needs, promoting engagement and progress.
Utilize clear, organized communication to establish learning objectives.
Implement small and large group instruction using research-based best practices and technology to enhance learning experiences.
Evaluate student growth, maintaining thorough records in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Foster communication with guardians regarding student progress and participate in academic reviews for at-risk students.
Utilize assessment data to inform instructional strategies and place students in suitable intervention programs.
Ensure student safety and participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development.
