The Director of Training is responsible for providing leadership, vision, and coordination for GoTEN’s training and leadership development efforts. This role ensures that GoTEN provides practical, reproducible training that equips people to engage unreached people, make disciples, develop leaders, and prepare for greater levels of ministry involvement.

About this role
The Director of Training oversees GoTEN’s training pathway, including introductory volunteer training, ministry skills training, internships, residencies, trip preparation, staff development, and advanced preparation for those pursuing long-term cross-cultural ministry.
The Director of Training works closely with GoTEN staff and experienced practitioners to ensure training is connected to real ministry experience rather than solely classroom instruction. This position is focused on developing people who develop others—building training systems, equipping trainers and mentors, and creating clear pathways that move people from initial exposure toward greater competency, leadership, and multiplication.
The Director of Training will also help expand GoTEN’s training capacity by developing trainers, strengthening digital training resources, partnering with churches, and creating reproducible training systems that can be used in future GoTEN locations.
