UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable. Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia. UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.
Aboutthe role
UFORCE US is looking for a UAV Trainer to help customers, partners, and internal field teams safely and confidently operate, maintain, launch, recover, and employ UFORCE unmanned aerial systems. You’ll deliver practical, repeatable training that prepares teams for exercises, demonstrations, and operational handoffs.
This is a hands‑on training role, not a classroom‑only position. You’ll teach across classroom, simulator, dry‑run, and live‑flight environments, applying established programs of instruction, checklists, instructor standards, and safety gates. You’ll help trainees build the skills and judgment to perform consistently in the field—not simply complete a course.
You’ll work closely with the training program owner and colleagues across field engineering, Delivery, Engineering, Sales, and safety. Your primary responsibility is to deliver established training to a high standard, evaluate trainee readiness accurately, and provide customer‑ready qualification records. You’ll also capture field lessons and feed them back into improvements to the curriculum, operating procedures, and training program.
What you'll doDeliver practical UAV training. Train operators, maintainers, mission leads, launch and recovery crews, safety observers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and customer teams using role‑based programs of instruction and established instructor standards.
Prepare teams for the full operating cycle. Teach mission planning, aircraft and payload configuration, communications checks, pre‑flight inspection, launch, flight operations, emergency procedures, recovery, post‑flight inspection, and maintenance basics.
Use a phased approach to learning. Combine classroom instruction, simulator practice, tabletop exercises, and dry‑run rehearsals to build readiness before live flight and make effective use of limited flight time.
Apply consistent procedures and checklists. Use current, standardized materials across training events, covering aircraft readiness, batteries and power, payloads, communications, flight operations, emergency response, data handling, and maintenance turn‑in.
Evaluate readiness honestly. Assess trainees against documented standards, provide practical coaching and clear feedback, and support qualification sign‑off with accurate records and evidence. Distinguish familiarity from demonstrated competence.
Run safe, well‑organized training events. Coordinate event preparation, assigned roles, mission briefs, risk assessments, range and airspace requirements, communications plans, flight windows, and readiness gates. Stop or change activities that are unsafe, underprepared, or not ready to fly.
Deliver complete training records and customer handoffs. Maintain attendance, flight logs, evaluation forms, and qualification records, and prepare clear handoff packages that show what trainees can do and where gaps remain.
Turn field lessons into training improvements. Lead or contribute to after‑action reviews, capture lessons from flight data, maintenance findings, exercises, and trainee feedback, and recommend updates to programs of instruction, checklists, safety gates, and instructor…
