BIM Modeler III – Rosendin Electric – Phoenix, AZ

The BIM Modeler III is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This leader of the production team, typically serving as Model Manager, oversees all functions of a BIM project—including drawings, model quality, and coordination files. They will efficiently supervise modeling and documentation of the project and provide task‑based training to staff.

• Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler II
• Work with the Family Development Team for revised standards or project‑specific needs
• Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects
• Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including project models and advising on resource needs, progress, and potential impacts on scope, schedule, and budget
• Create and maintain an Electrical Revit model using backgrounds from other trades while following all REI standards
• Work with a diverse team across multiple departments and disciplines
• Supervise the layout and input of marked‑up drawings into Revit in accordance with REI Standards
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to non‑Disclosure requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year in Revit
• Minimum of 5 years total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols, drafting conventions, and standards
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience

• Effective performance management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, including families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to turn direction into constructable design documents
• Comprehensive understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards
• Fluency in reading 2D plans, one‑lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules
• Ability to type, proofread, spell check work independently
• Understanding of Revit work‑sharing process and method
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks under changing priorities
• Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, effective team player
• Interact professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others

• General: sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; primarily indoors with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
• Noise level generally low to medium, louder on a job site
• Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
