As an Advanced Software Engineer, within our (NGA) Next‑Generation Avionics group, you will impact the design, architecture and deployment of cutting‑edge Flight Display Systems. As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavour that employs cutting‑edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

In this role, you will impact on the development and advancement of cutting‑edge Avionics Flight Displays that is shaping the future of Avionics technology. • Collaborate with a passionate team of engineers and designers to create and implement forward‑thinking software solutions for the Anthem Flight Display Systems.
• Design, develop and implement advanced software solutions for Avionics Display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.
• Leverage your expertise in software engineering to support innovation and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 4+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++ software development.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Understanding of various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc.
• Experience developing software in a Real‑Time Operating System (RTOS).
• Experience with Avionics products is a PLUS (e.g., Displays & Graphics, Flight Management, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc.).
• Experience in embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries is of value.
