.

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 06-12 months

Location: Tempe, AZ 85281

As an Assembler
, you will:

• Operate and oversee tube process stations and associated vacuum and electronic equipment to manufacture intensifier tube components.
• The Exhaust Processor uses hand tools to remove numerous stainless‑steel bolts to access and remove finished product from the vacuum and electronic equipment.
• The Exhaust Processor will unload and reload the systems without damaging the fragile tubes or the equipment.
• This position will be responsible for performing various routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• This position has considerable physical demands.
• The incumbent will adhere to procedures and work instructions to perform the exhaust process on components to achieve quality and yield goals set by the Exhaust department.
• The Exhaust process includes the following activities: produce a quality product that meets the customer specifications and maintain sufficient inventory to satisfy our internal and external customers.
• Interprets data from Analytical/ Diagnostics equipment to make sound decisions based on relevant facts.
• Follow written procedures and complete assigned work in a timely manner to keep production schedule while maintaining acceptable yields as determined by area supervisors and engineers.
• Knowledge of all safety (mechanical, chemical, electrical) procedures applicable to the job.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools and follows written process procedures for intensifier image tube processing.
• Monitor data from various meters and sensing devices that measure vacuum, temperature, and torque.
• Maintain accurate record entry through use of onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS).
• Define complex equipment issues and quality levels while informing engineering of any process, component, etc. that deviate from normal processing.
• Adhere to best vacuum and clean room practices.

Ideal candidate will have
:

• High school diploma or equivalent with manufacturing work experience; 1-3 years and comfortable to wear clean room attire and work in a clean room.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Compressed Shift 1A5:45AM to 6:00PM, Sun, Mon, Tues, and E/O Wed.

Pay Range*: $20-$21 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
