Tristar Engineering & Management Inc., celebrating 20 years, provides construction oversight, inspection services, and contract administration for municipal and public agencies across Arizona. We are a growing firm with about 65 employees, working primarily in the field overseeing and documenting construction work for roads and bridges.
We are seeking a Chief Inspector based in Phoenix, Tucson, or statewide.
Position OverviewThis role involves technical analysis, project management, supervising construction activities, and ensuring compliance with standards and policies. The candidate will possess extensive civil engineering knowledge, exercise independent judgment, and may lead or supervise staff and consultants.
Key Responsibilities- Managing construction projects and activities
- Supervising subordinate personnel and taking disciplinary actions when necessary
- Performing complex mathematical computations and technical writing
- Scheduling and managing work, analyzing data, and ensuring timely completion
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring effective communication
- Interacting effectively with diverse communities and cultures
- Implementing standards, policies, and regulations
- ATTI Field Certification CRT
3400 (renewal every 5 years) - ACI Field Certification CRT
3410 (renewal every 5 years) - ATSSA Traffic Control Technician TCH
