Lead the strategy, development, and execution of a new Anthem aircraft integration project including the transition and integration of new architectures and technologies. As the program engineering leader, you will be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues, leading Anthem Avionics to its first Part 25 certification. You will lead a cross‑functional team in prioritizing work packages, design goals, and driving overall program performance for applications and integration of the Anthem avionics program.
Responsibilities- Lead project engineering execution of the customer‑facing implementation of Anthem Avionics across multiple Centers of Excellence.
- Work on program strategy and alignment with GBE, CBT, PMO, and other leadership.
- Provide customer support, collaboration, and negotiation experience.
- Leverage aircraft cockpit systems technology expertise.
- Lead new hardware, software, and systems development, integration, and test.
- Handle aircraft systems integration and applications.
- Manage cost and schedule; perform early problem detection and course correction.
- Partner with GBE, CBT, external customers, and engineering functional teams to enable business growth.
- Lead cross‑program activities/initiatives such as supporting the development of strategic roadmaps to deploy common features/mandates, leading planning activities for labs and benches, and encouraging shared best practices for the Anthem CORE product.
- Serve as a leader for project engineering transformation within IFS.
- Mentor, coach, and train other project engineers in the organization.
- Occasionally deep‑dive and act as a consultant for particularly challenging programs.
U.S. Person requirement:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. person.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 15 years of experience leading engineering projects and/or functional teams.
- Experience leading Aerospace engineering projects and/or teams.
- Significant relevant experience in aircraft cockpit hardware and software products (Anthem/EPIC/APPEx/CORE).
- Proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
- Leadership with sound and timely judgment in ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to raise standards to drive program execution excellence.
- Business acumen in current and emerging practices and methods.
- Global teaming and collaboration.
- Strong management operating system facilitating communication.
- Understanding of business objectives and strong customer interaction ability.
