Land Surveyor, PLS

Overview

Webuild () is actively seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Project Manager to lead oil and gas, power, and civil/utility land survey development projects throughout the greater Arizona marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of direct land surveying experience, focusing on land development, construction staking and grading projects. This role requires managing in-office and field surveying tasks, including preparing project plans, budgets, timelines, and providing detailed information for crews on commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.

• Oversee the preparation of critical survey documents, including boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA surveys, and topographical surveys.
• Set up and guide field crews in the field, ensure accurate data collection, analyze field data, and draft survey reports.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure projects meet client specifications and are completed within budget and timelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics or a related field.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration in the State of Arizona.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and with Trimble, Total Station equipment.
