Estimator II – Mechanical/Plumbing – Phoenix, AZ

Base pay range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year. Total compensation may include bonus and equity opportunities.

You’ll estimate projects that power hospitals, schools, data centers, and high‑rise commercial spaces, while building long‑term equity in your future.

• Prepare detailed mechanical and plumbing estimates using industry‑standard tools and internal systems.
• Review drawings, specs, and project updates to ensure full scope coverage and cost accuracy.
• Develop proposal letters, evaluate vendor quotes, and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with business development and project management teams to qualify scope, pricing, and value‑engineering options.
• Maintain bid databases, vendor relationships, and organized project files.
• Support project handoff to operations teams and mentor junior estimators.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

• 3+ years of MEP estimating experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of piping, plumbing, and sheet metal systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
