Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Building Structures practice in Phoenix, AZ!

Responsibilities
  • Support the growth of the firm in heavy civil, facilities infrastructure, and/or building structures practices
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with coworkers, industry peers, and clients
  • Perform and review structural design calculations, prepare project document submittal packages, and maintain Quality Control
  • Conduct site investigations and structural evaluations, document field observations, and prepare technical reports
  • Participate in meetings and presentations with clients, owners, contractors, and design team members
  • Identify project opportunities through networking with clients
  • Lead and grow a structural practice with integrity and strategic planning
  • Manage projects profitably, mentor staff, and transition work effectively
  • Enjoy autonomy with potential rewards including bonuses and ownership opportunities
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of diversified structural engineering experience
  • PE license
  • Experience in structural design and planning for various structures
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and structural analysis software like STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT
  • Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills
  • Ability to manage staff, projects, and client relationships effectively
  • Experience in proposal writing, scope of work, and budgeting
