Transportation creates 23% of all greenhouse gas emissions each year. Electrifying transportation is priority #1 to impact climate change. By electrifying fleets, we can mitigate more than 70% of mobility CO2 urban emissions, remove 50% of city air pollution, and help fleet operators meet Net Zero commitments.

Developing sites that enable the rapid scaling of the electric vehicle market and the infrastructure required to support the transition to electrified transport. In this role, you will have the responsibility for managing execution of project design and construction activities for priority sites. Duties may include specification review and coordination, submittal review and approval, project scheduling, budget management, change management, contract negotiations, vendor and contractor management, progress tracking, quality control and assurance, permitting, utility interconnection, and contractor engagement.

Successful candidates will have extensive understanding of construction technical concepts and critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

• Lead end-to-end management of construction for multiple large-scale EV charging infrastructure projects, including greenfield or brownfield elements, building demolition, on-site energy generation assets such as battery energy storage, solar photovoltaic, and low-emission generators.
• Report to management regularly on project development progress and lead project management meetings to communicate progress and expectations to all stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance project control tools, including schedules and budgets.
• Identify and coordinate with external consultants and contractors, including engineering firms, construction contractors, vendors, material suppliers, and internal subject matter experts.
• Proactively address potential issues and manage tasks to advance project development and construction activities.
• Manage detailed development and construction budget forecasts.
• Analyze elements required to deliver a viable site and develop schedule recommendations for completion timelines.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from development partners, Business Development, Product, Real Estate, Energy & Utilities, Technology, Site Operations, and Finance teams.
• Advocate for the electrification of transport and the company’s role in driving it forward.
• Travel as needed (anticipated to be 40%) to remote job sites.

• 6+ years of experience in construction and new project development or management, including complex civil or electrical projects in areas such as site development, renewable energy, vehicle electrification, EV charging, and power grid development.
• Familiarity with project management tools, software, contracting structures, and projects such as Procore, Smartsheets, Confluence, and the Google Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in project management or civil engineering, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
• Required location for remote / hybrid work to be based in the Greater Phoenix Area.

$135,000 - $155,000 a year

Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s location, skills, level of expertise, and experience, and internal equity considerations. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and, where applicable, performance-based incentives.
