Responsibilities- Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, and select equipment.
- Complete field surveys and review equipment shop drawings.
- As experience grows, lead mechanical project teams, write specifications, participate in client and consultant meetings, and support construction-phase work.
- BSME/BSAE from ABET-accredited school.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Non-academic internship.
- Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities or student organizations preferred.
- EIT certification (passed the FE exam) a plus.
- Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Quick technical comprehension with a focus on client outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team.
