A leading, nationally recognized heavy civil contractor — consistently ranked among the top names on the ENR list — is seeking a Project Engineer to join their expanding team in Phoenix, AZ.

This is not a typical role, and this is not a typical company. With multiple $100M+ water and wastewater treatment plant projects recently awarded, they are growing rapidly and are looking for smart, driven professionals ready to be part of something big.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Project Engineer will support large-scale W/WWTP projects from preconstruction through to completion. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position, working alongside some of the best in the industry on complex, critical infrastructure builds.

This isn't about pushing paperwork — this is about being in the field, solving real problems, and helping deliver essential, high-budget public works that make a lasting impact on communities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 2–5+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction, heavy civil, or related infrastructure projects
• Background in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficient in managing RFIs, submittals, document control, scheduling support, and cost tracking
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or related tools preferred
• A strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
