About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and seasoned Healthcare Project Architect to join our team. The role involves overseeing project design and documentation, communicating with consultants and stakeholders, and ensuring design intent is realized during construction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead collaborative project teams with clear communication and guidance.
- Determine functional and spatial needs, design, specifications, materials, colour, equipment, anticipated costs, and construction timeframe with customers.
- Coordinate project layout and engineering for client approval.
- Create construction contractor scale drawings and contracts.
- Establish and monitor discipline programs.
- Oversee construction contracts and plan compliance on site.
- Develop project plans and designs using CAD.
- Attend internal and customer project meetings.
- Keep project team informed through meetings, minutes, and notes.
- Manage junior designers’ drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with team leaders and cross‑disciplinary teams during projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and others.
- Record allocated project conditions.
- Mentor junior staff, providing feedback and assistance for skill and career development.

$120,000 – $180,000
Qualifications- Healthcare experience is required.
- Five‑year bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- Minimum ten years’ experience in the A/E industry, including six years licensed, with proven specific experience in healthcare projects.
- Computer skills:
Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite. - Travel: up to 20% depending on the project.
- Licences/
Certifications:
State Architectural Licence, NCARB Certification, LEED or other certification (preferred).
This is an in‑office position located in Phoenix, Arizona.
