Sr. Platform Engineer

We are a pre‑IPO startup delivering a super app that simplifies car ownership, backed by $240 M in funding and a 60X revenue growth trajectory.

Jerry.ai builds the first super app to make car ownership affordable and accessible—covering insurance, purchases, registrations, loans, safety, repairs, parking, and more—serving a $2 T market in the U.S. and already serving over 5 M customers.

• Develop systems and components that improve the operational simplicity and reliability of Jerry’s product systems (e.g., monitoring, deployment automation, diagnosis tools).
• Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring robustness and security across all services.
• Build tools for security access management and capacity planning of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with product teams, guiding system architecture and recommending reliability and optimization solutions for production systems.
• Lead incident response coordination across teams, ensuring swift resolution and post‑mortem analysis.

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Amazon AWS services (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Elastic Cache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.).
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on system uptime.
• Proficient coding skills in Python or Go; familiarity with Node.js and Type Script is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, collaboration, and technical writing abilities.
• Highly motivated and thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with a passion for scalable, highly‑available cloud systems.
